Indian region celebrated the golden Jubilee of Sr. Annamma and sr. Chinnamma on 28th of May 2022. It has been a time of grace and gratitude to God for a life of faithfulness, loving God, and His people. They thanked God for all those who have brought them to this day, their parents, their family, friends and the Sisters of Servants of Mary and all those who have influenced and helped them along their life journey.
This jubilee celebration was an occasion to reflect together: Why did we come to religious life? Now here are the words of Pope Francis to women religious at the outset of the year of Consecrated life: "I am counting on you to wake up the world". A consecrated life is a prophetic one which radiates the joy and beauty of living the Gospel and following Christ. How have we followed Christ during these years after our first commitment; ten years, twenty five and fifty years?
As we celebrate the self-giving of life for God and His people, we know that in us the works of God is not yet finished, but we continue to witness God’s love being in the Congregation of Servants of Mary, as Pope Francis tells us to be “experts in communion” in a world of discord and confusion.
