In this time of confinement, our children’s homes make the sad observation of family situations that deteriorate and sometimes become critical for the child. In collaboration with the Directorate for Children and the Family of the Departmental Council, all child protection actors are mobilized every day to find appropriate solutions and thus enable new children to be taken into emergency care.
As it was not possible to accommodate them in the already existing groups, the Director General of the Association "Accueil et Relais" asked the community of Sainte Catherine if she could make available for this reception "Le Chalet" (which was free as currently being renovated with a view to moving the community).
Monday, April 6, this reception was set up for 5 children. The care is 15 days and is potentially renewable.
We see this event as a way of living our charism at the service of the protection of children.
