The VIA project coordinating team is pleased to announce the launch of the website dedicated to the International Volunteers in Alliance:
"We have been dreaming of this since the beginning of the project. It is the fruit of a long team work and the efforts of all that made it possible, for which we are deeply grateful: professionals, technicians, lay people, Sisters and volunteers, contributing their testimonies, material, know-how...
This website has two goals:
1. To provide information to people who would like to do volunteer work in another country, to share their gifts with society’s most vulnerable: "God’s little ones",
2. And to "proclaim" that together we can build the Kingdom of God, if each of us pools our five loaves and two fish; sharing the life woven into each lived experience.
The website will contain contributions of the participants in this project. We will be sharing the videos, photos and written testimonies that we receive from the volunteers. For the moment, the site is available in Spanish, French and English and, soon, in Italian
As we said at the launch of VIA, this project belongs to all of us, and together, with the lay family, we are invited to make it known using the different means available to us. And, as of today, we can also share the link to the VIA website: https://www.voluntariadointernacionalvia.com/en
It is now time for us to get going, to go out and meet our sisters and brothers who are ready to join forces to make another world possible: a world of hope, a world of bold and daring service to others, a world of compassion and solidarity!"
